This is by far one of the best face masks that I have recently used, this can also be used for the body because it is very in rich vitamin c which is something both face and body need. This mask is super easy to do with only two ingredients! now let’s dive into the DIY of this awesome mask!

Ingredients

The two ingredients are Mandarin peels and starch powder. Before I jump in on how to make this mask, let me tell you about some of the benefits that comes with this mandarin peels and starch for your skin. Mandarin peels not only help to achieve healthy and glowing skin and brighten the skin tone but it also reduces signs of aging and treat acne breakouts as they are enriched with vitamin C, antioxidants and minerals and as for the Starch, it helps protect your skin against free radicals responsible for premature aging of your skin and because it is rich in antioxidants, it will leave behind a thin film on your skin, making your face appear smoother and your wrinkles less noticeable.

Mask Making

Simply by taking the mandarin peels and put them in a pot with water just enough to cover the mandarin peels and then leave it to boil for about 10 mins, then filtrate, collect the essence of it and leave it to cool.

Once it is cooled, you can then add the starch gradually until you get a consistent paste, once that is done, you must put the paste in a container, preferably an old face cream container if you have any, this is what I used and I thought it was a perfect choice. Once you are all done, put the paste of your new homemade mask in the fridge for a few hours preferably overnight and then you can use it the next day when it is cold.

Application

Apply it onto your face and neck using your fingers or a foundation brush and then wait for 20 mins, once the 20 mins have passed, do not just wash it off, you need to rub it gently as if you are scrubbing your face and once you’re done, you wash it off with water. You will immediately notice how radiant and clean your face look!
